Homemade Spiced Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 15 oz pure pumpkin purée about 1 can
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup unfiltered organic apple cider
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground all spice
  • 1/8 tsp ground clove
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, combine all ingredients until well combined. Bring to a boil then reduce to low, cover and let cook down for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Let cool completely then store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Yields about 2 1/2 cups.
